Obituary of Evelyn Jewett

JEWETT, EVELYN ELIZABETH It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Elizabeth (Clark) Jewett announce her passing at Hospice House, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Born at Mouth of Keswick, NB on June 23, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Hayward and Laura (Yerxa) Clark. She is survived by her children, Larry Jewett (Cynthia) of Keswick Ridge, Marilyn Calhoun (Larry) of Keswick Ridge, Wendy Taylor (Dr. Michael) of Quispamsis, Terry Jewett (Peggy) of Fredericton, Susan Petryshen of Calgary, Roger Jewett (Cynthia Solano) of Calgary and Donald Jewett of Fredericton; grandchildren, Nicholas (Mel), Kimberly, Amanda (Robert) Meghan (Gillian), Corey , Holly (Robert), Hailey (Robin), Victoria, Sean, Kara, Wyatt and Tatum (Bennett) ; step grandchildren, Corey (Madeline), Jeff Taylor (Caitlin); four great grandchildren; Hudson, Nate, Marcie and Bryce; siblings, Mary Gilbert (Henry), Jean O’Leary (Michael) and Donald Clark ; sister in law, Shirley Clark; several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Howard Clark; sister in law Nancy Clark. The family would like to thank Dr. Katelyn Stymiest, Dr. Jill Hidson, Dr. Ghadeer Anan, Dr. Ronald McDonald and Dr. Bea Sainz. Thanks also to Extra-Mural nurses, Palliative care and Hospice House nurses and staff who assisted with her care. As per Evelyn’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. A private interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Mental Health Association or Hospice Fredericton.
