Obituary of Dysart Williston
The passing of Dysart Herman Williston of Beaverdam, NB, husband of Joanne (Hughes) Williston occurred on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 22, 1935 in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Melbourne and Emily (Graham) Williston. He worked as a Machine Operator for the NB Provincial Government for over 33 years. Dysart really enjoyed operating machinery and hunting.
In addition to his wife, Dysart is survived by his daughters, Krisanne Williston of Beaverdam, NB, Debbie Arbeau of Barker’s Point, NB, Ardith Williston of Beaverdam, NB; son, Kevin Williston of Beaverdam, NB; grandchildren, Daniel Arbeau of Devon, NB, Calvin Noel of Beaverdam, NB and Amanda Donaher (Mark) of Marysville, NB; great-grandchildren, Abby, Brady, Hunter, Brody, Haley, Luke and Brook; sister, Audrey Adams (Lawrence) of Miramichi, NB; brother, Ralph Williston (Celine) of Montreal, QC; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Tony Williston; brothers, John, Bernie, Mel and Doug.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 6-8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 2 pm with Pastor Normand McDonald. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Kidney Foundation, Cerebral Palsy or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
