I never met Stanton Friedman, but I did talk to him on the phone about above top secret documents that were shared with me by a neighbor of my sisters about Ufos and John F. Kennedys love affair with Marilyn Monroe. President Kennedy wanted to make his knowledge of UFOS public, but some of the people in his presidency said the world wasn’t ready for that and he insisted that the people needed to know. Soon after, he was assasinated.
I was very sad when he died. This date, 2024, more and more evidence is being shared with us.
Such a loss that lots of his knowledge of UFOs never came to light. He told me he had to put my info in his grey basket because I couldn’t produce proof. What an honor to work with him.

I never met Stanton but I did through his books and appearances. I thank him for his diligent research into the UFO/UAP decades old phenomina. I had two close encounters in my life time. One was 3 spheres along the southern Lake Michigan shoreline aon a late Summer night,1977 and the other was a bright tubular beam of light in a plowed potato field ,at night ,with my friend witness,Ed., in early Winter,1980. Both in north Indiana. Stanton made me feel that I was not alone in my experiences and reinforced my true belief that there are other life forms in the universe besides us. Thank you,Stanton and may you Rest in Peace. Rory Cubel, Indiana I am 75.

Just watching UFO documentary on history channel.
Made me think of Stan because of his expertise and gentle demeanor. Had encounter with him back in the 90s when I sent him a business plan of a company. My friend was involved in that produce nuclear power without radiation. Fusion. Now many years later, there are many advances, but after reviewing it, we spoke and he said it was intriguing, but he couldn’t comment on the feasibility of the technology. As I was just a stranger, he had no obligation to take the time for me. But he did!

I must let his family know that many, many people that I have spoken with over the years regarding extraterrestrial encounters and other unexplained events that Dr. Stanley Friedman's knowledge of such things. was ALWAYS brought up, such a fascinating man who is greatly missed. There are many if us who will know truth from fiction because of what he bestowed upon us. My hope is as he traverses along on the journey he has been given that he is allowed greater knowledge than he ever would have learned in this earthly realm.

I have followed Stan for decades since the 90s. I never met Stan, but I did talk to him on the phone when he called me to confirm my address. At first I did not know who was calling me. He asked if he was speaking to Devlyn and suspiciously, I said "who is this?" and he said 'Stan Friedman - the flying saucer guy'. I suddenly felt star-struck and proceeded to babble about what an honor it was to talk to him and then followed a short but nice chat about different mail code and post offices in Canada vs USA and a few other items. I'll never forget the experience, it truly was an honor to have spent even the smallest amount of time with such a genuinely nice person. R.I.P. Stan and thanks for touching my life.

The brilliance and clarity of life that you shared with the world you did so with facts, science, reason, and the absolute truth. You and I never met in person and anyone who has had the honor is beyond fortunate. I am thankful enough that you lived, and lived your life sharing with me, and thousands more complete strangers around the world a glimpse of the real world - and you did so bravely, fearlessly and without reservation. I am very sorry to hear of Stan's passing. He was a very friendly man.
I used to work on his vehicles in Fredericton, & I will always remember a particular incident during my time at that shop;
One time in 1988, shortly after I started working as a mechanic, Stan had his car in for some work. (I think it was a Toyota Corona). He went next door & as one of the other mechanics raised the hoist, it jumped & Stan's car took a nose dive off of the hoist! Luckily, no one was hurt & the car received a few minor dents. Just minutes after this happened, Stan returned & exclaimed "WHO FLEW MY CAR!" lol.
I guess you could say UFO's were always on his mind!
My condolences to all of the family.
Rest easy Stan.

It was Stanton Friedman!!!!
10 to 15 minutes later, I noticed the crew and Stanton in front of Tim Horton's.
I slowly approached Stanton and asked for a little interview.
This was my only time chatting with Stanton and WHAT A NICE GUY HE WAS!!!!

He was a VERY open minded individual.

Dear Marilyn,
We we never met in person, I don't think, but I did have the pleasure of speaking with you on the phone a few times. I live in Philadelphia and my husband and I hosted Stanton in our home several times when he was here for speaking engagements, conferences, and filmed interviews.
I produced the television pilot called First Contact, for the Sci Fi Network with Peter Robbins and Richard Dolan. Unfortunately, Sci Fi went into bankruptcy reorganizing while we were in production, and the new management lost our production in the shuffle with the dismissal of Larry Landsman.
We all hoped the show was a go, as it would've been much better than UFO Hunters! This was because of the expertise and guidance Stanton provided us. Stanton was a tremendous help as our Associate Producer on the Travis Walton film we produced in 2015, called TRAVIS. Stanton always made himself available, and accessible, to anyone who asked, and anyone who seriously wanted to learn about this topic. Stanton always made me feel like a peer and colleague, encouraging and modeling for me how to become a better researcher, and a better communicator. He never looked down or was dismissive to others with a lesser education or lesser credentials.
In fact, it was just the opposite, he always brought you up to his level, or higher, no matter who you were or what you knew. After spending time with Stanton, you knew more and became more, he had a special gift of generosity of spirit that lifted others up to his level. You never forgot conversations you had with him, or pieces of wisdom, or the encouragement he gave you.
How he remembered impossible facts like what the nuclear megatons were of different atomic bombs, and how many Jet planes were shot down by UFO's between 1948 and 1952? Or how much rocket fuel it took to lift off a Saturn rocket into space in 1962!
I know I am not sharing anything you don't already know about Stanton, what you may not know is how he was always the model gentleman no matter where he was, or how tiered he was. He always had compassion for others.
During the shooting of our pilot: First Contact, I had a family crisis with a daughter being diagnosed a brain tumor and Stanton counseled me on being the best medical advocate for my daughter sharing personal stories with me about how he saved his son's life a few times not listening to uninformed medical recommendations, and doing what he knew best in-spite of obstacles.
Since I am also Jewish, we shared a similar lens or perspective on world events and misunderstandings that occur towards Jews and Israel.
The world of Ufology would not be where it is today with-out the contributions of Stanton Friedman. He opened so many doors that only he could walk thru, paving the way for other younger and less experienced researchers to follow in his footsteps, or at least try to I am one of many whos life was forever changed for the better for having known this wonderful man.
While you are grieving the loss of your dear loved one, know many around the world join with you, mourning the loss of the father of modern UFOLOGY.
My very warmest to you and your extended family.
Sincerely, Jennifer W Stein

The Cosmos is all that is or was or ever will be. Our feeblest contemplations of the Cosmos stir us -- there is a tingling in the spine, a catch in the voice, a faint sensation, as if a distant memory, of falling from a height. We know we are approaching the greatest of mysteries.

I luckily had several chances to chat with Stan at UFO conferences and now wish I had taken more of these opportunities. I hope he is now able to find the answers to many of the questions he had on these mysteries.

I met Stanton Friedman at a number of UFO centered events. We talked a bit, and he signed a book for me in Roswell, NM. I knew of his work and his passion for it. He did so very much for this subject matter. He, and his dedication will be missed.

Stanton was an inspiration to me. His quick wit, his intelligence, his captivating personality, and his kindness stand out in my mind as some of his more notable qualities, but he had many. He was a shining light. May his spirit soar!
With sympathy to Marilyn and his family.

Stanton, I was sad to hear of your passing my friend, you will be greatly missed.
I will greatly miss our sometimes long conversations we had which were not always about physics, aliens or projects. I always found our conversations stimulating, fulfilling and entertaining.
Rest in peace my friend.

Mr. Friedman was a fixture with me since I was a kid those many decades ago. When an opportunity arose to see him on an interview, everything else stopped because I wanted to hear everything he had to say. He is one person I regret I did not meet. Few people achieve the great admiration he garnered from those as myself that never actually met him.
