Obituary of Minard Brewer

The passing of Minard Leroy “Mike” Brewer, husband to Patricia (McMillan) Brewer of Douglas, NB occurred on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Burtts Corner, NB on February 25, 1936, he was a son of the late Perley and Mary (Shepard) Brewer. Mike was a former volunteer firefighter at the Nashwaaksis Fire Department. In addition to his wife of 30 years, Mike is survived by his son, Timothy Brewer (Leigh Ann); grandchildren, Katlyn, Leia and Chase; sister, Agatha Roden; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Christopher; sister, Madeline; and brothers, Wardie “Wid”, Donald and John. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 2-4 pm.
