Obituary of Anne Marie McLaggan

The passing of Anne “Marie” McLaggan of Hawkins Street, NB, wife of the late Roger McLaggan occurred on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Hospice Fredericton. Born on July 17, 1940 in Glace Bay, NS, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anne (Gillis) O’Neill. Marie was a cashier at Bi-Way. Marie is survived by her son, Donald McLaggan; granddaughter, Allison Lynn; sisters, Anna Dalzeil (Gordon), Sally McMillan (Eric), Mary Rowe (Gerard), Peggy Keirstead (Fred), Florence Wood; brothers, John O’Neill (Gaetane), Aubrey O’Neill (Patricia) and Pius O’Neill. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, John McLaggan; sister, Sr. Gloria O’Neill and brothers, Thomas, Joseph (Vangie) and James O’Neill (Aubrey). There will be a Celebration of Marie’s Life at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
