Obituary of Harvey Button

BUTTON, HARVEY LLOYDE The passing of Harvey Lloyde Button of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Windsor Court Retirement Residence. Born on January 20, 1935 in Lead Cove, NL, he was the son of the late Norman and Annie Mae (Harris) Button. Harvey served in the Canadian Air Force as a radar technician. He was a Project Manager with the Province of NB. Harvey loved sailing and travelling, liked playing shuffleboard and the stock market, as well as walking and computers. In addition to his spouse, Marlene Schriver, he is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Button, LeeAnn Button and Jill Button (Peter Gill); grandchildren, Shannon and Sam Gill; sisters, Loretta Morgan and Reneé Button; brother, Winston Button; several nieces and nephews, especially beloved niece, Deborah Morgan and beloved nephew, Glenn Morgan. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Gary Button and sister, Sylvia Poteet. There will be no services by request.
