Obituary of Ashley Seamans

The passing of Ashley Kilburn Seamans of Fredericton, NB, husband of Theresa (Barter) Seamans occurred on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 13, 1947 in St. George, NB, he was the son of Jean (MacDonald) Seamans and the late Whitman Seamans. He was a self employed Electrical Contractor. Ashley was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid card player. In addition to his wife and mother, Ashley is survived by his daughters, Kelly Aitken and Kathy Seamans; son, Kris Seamans (Alana) all of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Karson, Nathaniel, Sarah and Emily; brother, Hubert Seamans (Nancy) of Riverview, NB; in laws, Tom Barter (Connie), Peggy DeCoste (Dan), Jim Barter (Debby) and Bob Barter (Marion); aunt, Fay Burnett of Lincoln, NB; many nieces, nephews and cousins; close family friends, Tracy Davis and Gina Saunders-Merrill. Besides his father, Ashley was predeceased by his mother and father in law, Clayton and Marguerite (Kelly) Barter and sister in law, Dorothy Zinck. There will be no services at this time by request. Interment will take place at a later date in St. George, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Atlantic Salmon Federation.
