Obituary of Joyce Sutton

The passing of Joyce Ann Sutton of Fredericton, NB, wife of John Sutton occurred on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at home. Born on January 4, 1955 in Odell, NB, she was the daughter of the late Matt and Mildred (Goucher) Breau. Joyce was an AA Member for 38 years. In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by her children, Serenity Curtis (Paul), Matt Harvey (Megan), John Sutton Jr., Sam Sutton (Dawn), Cindy Sutton, Ronald Sutton (Rose), Gordie Sutton (Michelle) and Joseph Sutton; several grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Yvette Ward (Randy), Penny Lewis (Barry), Chantal Goodine (Wayne), Kelly Deschenes (Robert) and Rochelle Chappel (Butch); brothers, Sammy Breau (Cheryl), Danny Breau (Denise) and Curtis Breau (Julie); sister in law, Alice Silvea; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Misty Harvey; sister, Jocelyn Ann “Jojo” Breau and her brothers, Gregory Breau, Dwight Breau and Baby Guay. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 3 pm with Rev. Sara Palmater officiating. Interment will take place in Upper Hampstead Baptist Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, IWK Children’s Hospital or the charity of the donor’s choice.
