Obituary of Doris Moore

The passing of Doris Anna (Haines) Moore of Burtts Corner, NB, wife of the late George Moore occurred on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 21, 1924 in Dorn Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Sadie (Bird) Haines. Doris was a member of Corner Stone Bible Church, Burtts Corner, NB. Doris is survived by her daughter, Linda Russell (Rival) of Burtts Corner, NB; step son, Camille Moore of Burtts Corner, NB; grandchildren, Don Carson, Kelly Sharpe (Doug), Rob Russell (Melissa), Cammie Moore (Heather), Burt Foster (Jennifer), Mary Jane Farrah (Paul), Brendan Foster (Brenda), Sherry Foster and Shawna Brewer (Calvin); several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was predeceased by her daughter, Lola Gail Moore; son, George Moore; step daughter, Margaret Tuckey; granddaughter, Jane Porter; brother, Arthur Haines; twin niece and nephew, Joanne and Gary Haines. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Corner Stone Bible Church on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Matthews officiating. Interment will take place in Dorn Ridge Cemetery at later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Corner Stone Bible Church Building Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice.
