Obituary of Carolyn White

The passing of Carolyn Ann White of Killarney Road, NB, wife of Arnold White occurred on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 12, 1953 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Mardelle (Jones) Scott and the late Devern Scott. Carolyn was an avid bingo player at St. Mary’s Entertainment Centre. She loved time spent at the camp, the lake, sitting around bonfires and especially family events. In addition to her husband and mother, Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Barbara White (Walter Brooks) and Patricia Butler (Casey) both of Fredericton, NB; son, Michael White (Kimberly Testa) of Moncton, NB; grandchildren, Christina, Shyanne, Courtney, Austin, Brittany, Cole, Tiana, Emily and Ashton; sisters, Connie LeBlanc (Emery) and Diane DaCunha (Joe) both of Fredericton, NB, Ann Norrad (Ernie) of Boiestown, NB and Nancy Atwin (Tony) of Kingsclear, NB; brothers, Delbert Scott (Sandra Watson) of Fredericton, NB, Johnny Scott (Lynn) of Minto, NB and Terry Scott (Ann) of Durham Bridge, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her sister, Marsha Scott. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Brian D. MacDonald officiating. A reception will follow at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Chalmers Foundation – Cardiac Care Unit or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
