Obituary of Grace Wood

Grace Wood passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, January 7, 2019. Born on April 4, 1947 in Charlottetown, PEI, she was the daughter of the late James and Katherine (Dixon) Craig. Grace was retired from the Federal Government and was a member of Greenwood Drive Baptist Church. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Wood; step-mother of Michelle Wood of Calgary, AB and Pam Wood of Fredericton, NB; brother, George Craig (Elizabeth) of Stratford, PEI; sister, Sheila Craig of Welland, ON; eight step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; loving aunt of her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by step son, Stephen Wood; brother, Jim Craig and infant sister, Caroline Craig. The Funeral Service will take place at Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
