Obituary of Blaine Sparkes

Surrounded by his loving family the passing of Blaine Frederick Sparkes of MacLaggan Bridge, NB occurred on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 14, 1956 in Stanley, NB he was the son of the late Claire and Martha (Humble) Sparkes. Blaine loved his family and was so loved by them. He was an avid Beatles fan, loved going to the movies, playing his guitar, NASCAR and so much more but most of all loved his children. Blaine was a true “jack of all trades” and was eager and willing to help anyone who needed it. He is going to be so missed and never ever forgotten (we love you Dad). Blaine is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Budovitch (Dustin); son, Jamie Sparkes (Nisha); grandchildren, Finnegan Sparkes and Ethan Budovitch; brothers, Ken (Heather), Ted (Wanda), Gerry (Mary), Max and Glen (Melanie) Sparkes; several nieces, nephews, immense extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life Reception will take place at Crosspoint Wesleyan Church on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 3:30-5:30 pm.
