Obituary of Aubrey Long

The passing of Aubrey “Darrah” Long of Porter Cove, NB occurred on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Fredericton, NB on January 24, 1964, he was the son of Alice (Price) Long and the late Aubrey Long. Darrah loved hunting, fishing and playing bingo. In addition to his mother, Darrah is survived by his sister, Susan Munn (Manny); niece, Sarah Gilks (Brian) and their children, Jeremy Munn, Brayden and Kinley Gilks. Visitation will be held at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Darrah’s Life will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11 am. Interment will be in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove, NB. A reception will follow at the McNamee Recreation Centre. For those who wish, remembrances can be offered to the Diabetes Association.
