Obituary of Joan Robinson

The passing of Joan Robinson of Fredericton, NB, wife of Owen Robinson occurred on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 6, 1937 in Belfast, Northern Ireland she was the daughter of the late David and Amelia (Milliken) Christie. Joan was a secretary at CIBC. She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and enjoyed the Salvation Army Community Church where she counted the money from the Christmas Kettles. Also, a member of the Overseas Club. Joan enjoyed knitting. In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her daughter, Erin Robinson (Brian) of Fredericton, NB; granddaughter, Emma; nephew, Peter Wasson (Tanya); great niece and nephew, Shelbe and Zane. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Margaret Melon and Charlotte Christie. There will be no visitation or services by request.
