Obituary of Curtis Dixon

Curtis Brian Dixon died peacefully surrounded by his family. Born in McAdam, NB in 1946, he was the son of the late Fraetha (White) and Stanley Dixon. Survived by his wife, Joan (Thorburn); daughter, Kim (Todd Stephens); sons, Peter and Craig. He was Papa to his grandchildren, Jordan (Shawnna), Nick, Katie, Avery, Matt and Cameron; great grandson, Samuel; brothers in law, Bev (Judy) and Jim (Heather); sister in law, Karen (Duane Lister);several nieces, nephews and cousins. After graduation Curtis worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia followed by a 35 year career with the Provincial Government. He had many friends and acquaintances at both work and play. He loved cottage life at Magaguadavic Lake. To honour Curtis and share memories we will gather with family and friends at Killarney Lake Lodge, Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 2-4 pm. Interment at a later date at Rockland Cemetery in McAdam. Donations may be made to CNIB, SPCA, Hospice House or donation of ones choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
