Obituary of Norma Currie

Life Legacy The passing of Norma Cecilia Currie of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Lewis Currie occurred on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 6, 1939 in Tyne Valley, PEI she was the daughter of the late Leigh and Myrtle (Ledstone) Ramsey. Norma was an active member of the Church of Nazarene, where she served as the music coordinator. Norma is survived by her children, Preston Waite (Betty-Ann), Ernestine Morse (Stephen), Christopher Waite (Jeannie), Coleen Turner (Kirk) and Cheryl LeBlanc (Jason); 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Bertha Risteen; brother, Cecil Ramsey (Emily) several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, husband and first husband, Ernest Waite, she was predeceased by her daughter, Patsy Lint. There will be no visitation or funeral service held at this time; a Graveside Service will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery in the spring.
