Obituary of Peter Carlisle

The passing of Peter Douglas Carlisle of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Karen (Murray) Carlisle occurred on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 9, 1955 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Walter and Bertha (McKinnon) Carlisle. Peter was a graduate from UNB with a Bachelor of Science (Biology) and a degree in Chemical Engineering. He then worked as a Chemical Engineer with Fraser Papers. He was an active member of the Power and Sail Squadron. Peter is survived by his daughter, Andrea Green (Jonathan); grandchildren, Noah and David Green; sister, Karen Schick; brother, Burton Carlisle (Catherine); several nieces, nephews, and mother in law, Roberta Murray. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his father in law, Blair Murray. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 5-8 pm. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton or the charity of the donor’s choice.
