From the very first when we met Connie in the late 70's, she always made a point of taking time to talk with us. She was a very encouraging lady to be around and we appreciated her friendship. Certainly her life made a difference for others and for the sake of her Lord Jesus Christ. She is with The Lord now, "which is far better", but her witness will continue to bless all who knew her. Our condolences to all the family. Dean & Joan

Love and Strength. Those are the two words I think of when I think of Connie. A hard worker all of her life, on the farm and in the home. Her ever present smile and warmness to everyone she met were always the first things you saw. As a Mother, she loved and cared for all. The loss of three children is hard to imagine but Connie's ever present strength was there. Whenever I would visit, Connie's first comments were always about how good her family were to her and that all the help they gave her, enabled her to stay at her beloved homestead. We know that the love of a Mother is sacred but Connie knew how loved she was in return as well. As a family, you all should be proud of the support and love you showed your Mother each day. She was a beautiful soul and I can't imagine the pain each of you are going through right now. However, we know where she is and we know that her smile and love is now in a place where it will shine eternally with her loved ones surrounding her. She is smiling down on all of you knowing that she was a well loved lady. Thinking of you all!
Sincerely,
Maria Pugh
