Obituary of Winston Jones

Jones, Winston Aubrey The passing of Winston Aubrey Jones of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 20, 1945 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Donald and Delores (Butler) Jones. He was a salesman at GE George’s Clothing and footwear. Winston loved to play Bingo and cook. Winston is survived by his sisters, Lois Jones (David) of Williamsburg, NB, Donna Fawcett (Stephen) of Fredericton, NB and Trudy Edgar (Karl) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; brothers, Wayne Jones (Erma) of Rusagonis, NB, Gary Jones (Ann), Brian Jones (Heather) and Kenny Jones (Pam) all of Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1 pm with Rev. Matthew Maxwell officiating. Interment will take place in Williamsburg Community Cemetery at a later date. Honourary Pallbearers are Chris Munn, Jamie Jones, Jerry Jones, Justin Fullarton, Cory Jones, Chris Jones and Josh Perry.
