Obituary of Patricia Hunter

The passing of Patricia “Patsy” Ann Hunter, wife of the late Ashley Hunter, of Fredericton, NB occurred on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born in Doaktown, NB on July 30, 1933 she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (O’Donnell) Payne. She was a member of Eastern Star and the LOL Orange Lodge. Patsy is survived by four daughters, Flora Doak of Taymouth, NB, Wendy (Edward) Werthmann of Nashwaak Village, NB, Cynthia Lynn Hunter of Fredericton, NB and Heather Hunter of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Ashley, Alexander, Allison and Katarina; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Addison, Zoe and Zack; brothers, George (Wilma) and Paul Payne; several nieces and nephews. Bedsides her husband and parents, Patsy was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Arbeau; and brother, Eugene Payne; infant brother, Gilbert; son-in-law, Reid Doak. At Patsy’s request, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Boiestown, NB on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 2 pm with Father Neil Osiowy and Father Kevin Stockall officiating.
