Obituary of Jessie Fullarton
The passing of Jessie Irene Fullarton of Williamsburg, NB, wife of the late Reginald Fullarton occurred on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Williamsburg, NB on February 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Hossack) Fullarton. For most of her life, she was a homemaker and mother. Jessie and her husband operated Fullarton’s Grocery in Williamsburg, for ten years. Her favourite and longest occupation was serving as the organist with St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg and later with St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church in Stanley, a service she provided for over 65 years.
Jessie is survived by her two sons, Kim Fullarton (Connie) and Robin Fullarton (Deborah); six grandchildren, Rebecca Fullarton (Scott Young), Julie Carrier (Keith), Ryan Fullarton (Jessica), Kyle Fullarton (Elizabeth), Laura Dickie (Mark) and Kelci Fullarton; eleven great grandchildren, Max, Ben and Katelyn Young, Matthew and Allie Carrier, Ethan and William Fullarton, Blake and Thea Fullarton, Abigail and Luke Dickie; sister, Mavis Cater (Max); brother, George Fullarton (Shirley); special nieces Jill, Meghan and Brianne Fullarton and special nephews Chris (Caroline), Peter (Sonya) and Ryker Fullarton.. Besides her parents and husband Reginald Fullarton of sixty-two years, Jessie was predeceased by her sisters Helen Flinn (Lawrence) and Elsie Saunders (Irvine); brother John Fullarton.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday November 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church on Wednesday November 15, 2017 at 1 pm with Rev. Lyn Hughes officiating. Interment will take place in Williamsburg Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church, Stanley, NB or the Williamsburg Community Cemetery.
