Obituary of Sonja Titus

In her 79th year, Sonja Loraine Titus (nee MacLaughlan) passed away suddenly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 27, 2017. Widow of the late Gilbert Linwood Titus of Fredericton, N.B. Sonja was born in Amherst, N.S. and graduated from St. Charles School where she excelled as a student. During her later years she was employed at the N.B. Power Corporation. Sonja was the daughter of the late Freeman and Marjorie MacLaughlan of Amherst, N.S. and leaves to mourn, her sister, Irene (Bill) Scrymgeour; brother, John "Jack" (Hilda) of Maitland, On.; her step-daughter, Ann (Bob) Elvin and grandson Scott Elvin (Cathy). She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline MacLaughlan of Halifax. Cremation has taken place and her ashes, along with those of her beloved husband, Lin, will be interred at St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Liscomb, N.S.
