Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Harding

The passing of Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Harding, of Burtts Corner, NB, wife of Cecil Harding, occurred on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on July 9, 1928 in Marysville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (Tucker) Pond. Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Donald (Diane) Harding of Burtts Corner, NB, Charles Harding of MacLeod Hill, NB and James Harding (Richard) of Dieppe, NB; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Roach of Ontario; brother, Charles (Wilda) Pond of Marysville, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Bertha Clark; her brother, John “Jack” Pond and daughter in law, Corinne Harding. There will be no services by request. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Dorn Ridge Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Fredericton Food Bank or the charity of the donor’s choice.
