Tennyson was one of those rare MEN who was "what you see is the real Tennyson". Nothing fake. Hard nose on the outside, but the kindest, empathetic, most giving person anyone could possibly be.
No nonsense, but loved to laugh. When he was around, you'd feel safe, because you knew if anything went wrong, he'd be the first to stand up and do what a man is supposed to do.
He was a true role model. I wish I could have gotten to know him better.
I'm truly sorry for your incredible loss. Just remember how incredibly lucky you all are for having this wonderful man in your lives.
I'm sure you already know
Robin Jordan

So sorry to hear of your loss. Tennyson, (Mr. Carson is what the boys on the hockey team & I called him, as everyone had so much respect for him) was such a quiet & kind gentleman. He always went the extra mile for everyone. We all have such fond memories of all the great times at the hockey games & the road trips. I will never forget & I have always appreciated the many times Mr. Carson picked Jerry up & drove him to hockey practices & hockey games at the Coliseum. I also remember & appreciate the great time we had (I believe it was to Halifax, the SEDMA tournament) when Mr. Carson went the extra mile & got a large brand new van that seated 7 people, so that your family of 4 could go & also take me, my sons Jerry & Mike. It was so kind of him. I dearly appreciated it. Linda, David & Chris hold all your beautiful memories of your Dad/husband deep in your heart. (((((Hugs))))) Charlotte, Jerry & Mike Endall

Joan & I would like to offer our deepest sympathy to the family of Tenny Carson. We have known him for 15 years or more and thought a lot of him. We remember a kind, gentle man who was always willing to lend a hand to his neighbors. He love people especially his family. Tenny will be sorely missed by his many friends and campers at his favorite place here in Bayside where he spent the past 15 summers. Rest in peace dear friend.
