Munn, Reginald LeRoy
The passing of Reginald LeRoy Munn of Fredericton, NB, husband of Betty (Ackerson) Munn occurred on Friday, September 29, 2017 at York Care Centre. Born on May 7, 1936 in Doaktown, NB, he was the son of the late John and Grace (Beek) Dobson. Reginald served in the Canadian Armed Forces; he then worked as a cook at the Atlantic Institution, Renous, NB. He was a member of New Road Pentecostal Church, Durham Bridge, NB.
In addition to his wife, Reginald is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Kingsbury (Ed) of Bangor, ME and Rhonda Buckley (Ken) of Miramichi, NB; sons, Darren Munn (Heather) of Durham Bridge, NB and Stephen Munn (Marlene) of Ludlow, NB; grandchildren, Meghann, Matthew, Savanna, Marissa, Devon, Kayla (Evan) and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Corey, Madox and Ella; sister, Rosella Harris of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Richard Dobson (Beatrice) of Doaktown, NB and Wesley Munn of Miramichi, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, infant Patricia Munn, Nola Thompson, Christina Ballard, Mabel Parker, Phyllis Llewlyn, Marie Kelso, Juanita Carr and Nora “Node” Pratt; brothers, Nathaniel and Milburn Munn.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Ripples United Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 1 pm with Rev. Terry MacAllister officiating and Rev. Bruce Arsenault assisting. Interment will take place in Ripples Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolence may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
