Obituary of Alma Gilmore

Gilmore, Alma Margaret The passing of Alma Margaret Gilmore of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late A.W. “Mike” Gilmore occurred on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born on February 21, 1932 in Millville, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Sproul) Love. Alma was a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Greenwood Drive Baptist Church and was a Pioneer Leader at Nashwaaksis Baptist Church. Alma is survived by her daughter, Margaret Fox (Bruce) of Bermuda; sons, Fred Gilmore of Calgary, AB and Eldred Gilmore of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Alex and Sam; brother, Harold Love (Anna) of Mactaquac, NB; sisters-in-law Marion Love, Gwen Burns and Connie Gilmore; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Alma was predeceased by her brother, Eldred Love. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday September 19, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on Wednesday September 20, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating. Interment will take place in Mactaquac Cemetery.
