Obituary of Mary Devine

The passing of Mary “Fay” Devine of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Lionel “Mike” Devine, occurred on Monday, August 28, 2017 at home. Born on September 27, 1931 in Coldwater, ON, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Clara (Lawson) Vivian. Fay was a retired Dental Assistant. Fay is survived by her two sons, Robert Devine (Cathy) and Byron Devine (Jackie) all of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jordan, Shane (Jenna), Kelsey (Craig), Brittany (Johnny), Drew (Heather), and seven great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Skip Vivian, Velma Robertson, Shirley Evans, Audrey Sallows, Iris Bolyea, Orley Vivian and Joyce Hall. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11am with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place in Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, North Bay, ON at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
