Obituary of Fernande Brady

Sourrounded by her family, Fernande Rita Marie Brady (Caissie) of Moncton, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2017 at Thomas Hall, Fredericton NB. Fern was the wife of the late James Brady. Fernande was born in Rogersville, NB, daughter of the late Maxime and Leo Cadie (Goguen) Caissie. She was the youngest of 9 children. Fernande was an RN at the Villa du Repos in Moncton, NB prior to her retirement. She was very much loved and had a very big heart and a beautiful soul. She loved helping and caring for others. She loved to be active and enjoyed walking, bowling, skating, knitting and crossword puzzles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Kevin Brady of Montreal, QC. Peter Brady (Denise) of Moncton, NB, and Leanne Hazlett (Mark) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Tara, Ryan, Emily and Olivia; brothers, Vincent (Louina) of Moncton, NB, Edmond (Gladys) of Rogersville, NB and several nieces and nephews; and her special grand dog Izzy. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Elodie Daigle (Francois Richard), Livain (Helena), Gerald (Armande), Louise (Edmond Robichaud), Paul (Aline), Jeanne (Louis Babineau). There will be a service to celebrate both the Life of Fernande and her deceased husband James at St Bernard's Church, 43 Botsford St, Moncton NB, Wednesday August 16th, 2017 at 1 pm. Reception to follow at the church. For those that wish, remembrances may be made to The Alzheimers Association. We would like to give many thanks to the loving and caring staff at Thomas Hall who worked tirelessly to give mom comfort.
