Obituary of Gertrude Bellehumeur

The passing of Gertrude Marie Blanche Bellehumeur of Waterville, NB, wife of John Driscoll occurred on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the QEII Hospital, Halifax, NS. Born on April 1, 1945 in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Irene (Leger) Lovely. Gertrude was a Librarian. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Gertrude is survived by her daughters, Lynn Prieur (Daniel) and Nina Prieur (Daniel) both of Montreal, QC; grandchildren, Joanie, Jessica, Marilou and Chloé; great granddaughter, Liliane; sisters, Cecilia Sangster and Patsy Hayes; brothers, Peter Casey and Terry Lovely (Marlene) all of Fredericton, NB; sister in law, Marguerite Lovely; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, George Lovely. A Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Private Graveside Service will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Lung Association of New Brunswick or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
