Obituary of Nathaniel Stom Wright
It is with deep and profound heartache that we announce the sudden death of our precious Nathaniel ("Nate") on Thursday, July 6th. Nathaniel suffered an aneurysm after a day well-lived.
Much anticipated and loved, Nathaniel was our fourth and final baby, the one who completed our family. His death leaves many in its painful wake: loving son of parents Richard Wright and Elizabeth Stom; treasured baby brother to Danika, Nikolaas, Ellyce and Patrick; adored grandson of Betty and the late Freddy Stom, the late Madeline and Norman Wright, and Virginia Holland; proud uncle to Caleigh (Lindsay Parrington), Azalea, Olivia and Zakery (Lauren Glockling); nephew of Patricia Wright, Rick Stom and Sylvie Viau, Noreen Stom and Ian Frost; cousin to Rebecca and Alexander Payant and Meghan and Andrew Frost; godson of Christiane and Jody Leclaire; cherished best friend and soul mate of Katie Crawford (Brad and Tabatha, Fredericton).
Nate followed the water from Nicolls Island where he grew up in Manotick, ON, out East to Fredericton, NB where he was entering his 4th year as a student in the Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resources undergraduate program. He considered certain friends along the way to be his family – in particular Travis Bonnelle, his roommate whose valiant efforts of resuscitation will never be forgotten, childhood friends Dante Reitano, Luke Carson and Connor McCrudden. We don't want to leave any friends out, but you know who you are. You share in the depths of our grief.
Please join us for a memorial gathering at the RCMP Long Island Camp (415 Nicolls Island Road, Manotick, ON) on Thursday, July 20th at 4pm. ALL WELCOME
