Obituary of Kelly McAloon

Died unexpectedly of complications from cancer, peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2017, with her family by her side. Born in Fredericton, NB on October 28, 1973. Survived by partner Anthony Knorr and her cherished son Hunter. Daughter of John and Judy McAloon (Fredericton, NB), sibling to Laurie (Rick Froese, Canmore, AB), Mike (Margie, Amherst, NS), Carol (Murray Bateman, Wasaga Beach, ON), Margot (Robb Parker, Fredericton, NB), Grandmother Germaine McAloon (Calgary, AB). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Growing up in Bathurst, Kelly was an active figure skater and basketball player in her early years, but her first love was animals and Kelly was the adoptive mother to many loved creatures throughout her life. She enjoyed nature and spent many hours fishing, hunting and four-wheeling with her boys. She will be greatly missed by her immediate and extended family. Visitation will be held at the York Funeral Home T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 1-3 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 3 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating.
