Obituary of Elizabeth Staples

It is with heavy hearts that the children of Joyce Elizabeth Staples (MacLaggan) of McGivney, NB, share the news of the passing of their mother at home, on Thursday, June 15 (1943-2017). She was the wife of the late Douglass V. Staples, and daughter of the late Ethel (Flewelling) and Lloyd MacLaggan. Predeceased by brothers, George and Lyle, and daughter-in-law, Sherry. Joyce is survived by her brother, Sam (Loretta) of Astle; children, Mary (David) Coughlan of Nashwaak Bridge, Joseph Staples of Whitecourt, AB, John (Tracey) Staples of Marysville and Pam (Mark) Wilkinson of Marysville; 12 grandchildren and their families. Joyce's vocation in life was Love, and her family was anyone she could share it with! At the request of Mom there will be no visitation; a Graveside Service will take place at McGivney Community Cemetery on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
