Our sincere condolences to Ann's mom, sister, brother and nephews. Although we've never met I feel like I know you all because of the loving way she always talked about you. Ann was very dear to our family and we'll forever treasure her selflessness and the time we all spent together. Even after her diagnosis, while still in Toronto, she would come over and watch our youngest son Grant regularly so I could get a few hours break. She called Grant her "boyfriend" and sitting on the floor of our living room with spit up on her shoulder a "date". Ann - thank you for leaving us with so many great memories. I know Ann is watching over all of us while finally getting to enjoy some popcorn.
Love,
The Kuczkowski Family

Ella & Family,
I was sad to hear of Ann's passing. I'll always remember her strong spirit and her passion for life. She made my days in the Oncology Clinic more enjoyable through her conversations and stories. She always greeted me with a warm and friendly smile.
She told me one day that she was planning on getting involved with colon cancer awareness. She wanted to be involved in something that brought purpose and meaning to her life. She definitely achieved that by raising awareness through interviews with CBC News and other venues.
I'm happy for her at what she accomplished. She was a special lady and I'll miss our talks. I'll be praying for you and your family.

Sincerest condolences to Jessie, Ella, Steven and family, and all of Ann's many close and far-flung friends, especially Wendy, Sarah, Bev and Alix.
I knew Ann in our twenties in Toronto through Wendy, from working at the hospital together. Ann's magnetic personality and sense of fun was contagious, and I loved her quick laugh. She lightened me up and reminded me not to take life so seriously. Book club and those lasagne and salad dinners were so engaging with Ann; conversation always veering towards stories of adventures and antics. You couldn't help but howl with laughter.
She is and will remain sorely missed. My thoughts are with you all.

I often worked with Ann in Toronto and she sat on our Discover America Board. Ann lived near me and I took her to treatments at Princess Margaret when she was diagnosed. Ann had a smile that would light up the world and a positive attitude towards life and living. I will miss her voice, her messages, her vivacious outlook and will always remember her friendship. Annie- I miss you, you told me not to cry but I can't help it. We will be honoring you here in Toronto and you will never be forgotten-xo

Ann,
Thank you for making "work" on the OMCA magazine more like fun. I always enjoyed when our talks went beyond publishing and into family, particularly our nieces and nephews. And thanks for teaching me a couple of salty Canadian expressions I didn't know!

Ann- you are missed- and loved. I'm sorry that you lost this battle. Your drive and perseverance has pushed others to be aware of the need to catch colorectal cancer early through routine screening.
You were an integral part of so many fond memories of growing up in Fredericton. We giggled ourselves silly in Shediac, PEI, Maine and loads of other fun places. You and Wendy were the instigators in chief.
May you rest peacefully.
Fondly,
Gillian
