Dear Agnes,and your family and friends.
My name is Jennifer, you'll only remember me as the girl who took care of you on your last night with us on this Earth.
You enjoyed two cups of tea and cookies with your newspaper and magazine in the dining room on the night of the 11th, I didn't want to take you away from that because you were enjoying the peace and quiet to yourself. I came in at 11pm,and suggested that it was time for bed. You agreed that it was late enough,with a little humor with it as usual....we chuckled on the way back to your room. You told me that you could tell that I enjoyed my job, which I confirmed that I do..you were so appreciative of my cares for getting you ready for bed. You felt safe,secure,and well cared for. The picture that your family chose was a lovely one of you when you were younger,and even though I never had the pleasure of knowing you years ago, I witnessed some youth in you when Tim played music from back in your day,you came alive and excited over your memories of dancing, and all your good times that followed it. Thank you Agnes for choosing to live at shannex in order to allow me to care for you in your last year on this Earth. I feel truly blessed,and I have closure in knowing that I took good care of you.
