Dear Charlotte and Children
I am saddened that you have lost a great man, husband and father . I need not tell you how much he was appreciated for his kindnesses , spirit and all round generosity. He was like a big brother " up the road" who walked us to Sunday school, teased us in sufferably and lit up the room with his wit and intelligence. He was the loyal nephew to mom and dad who never forgot to visit and to spoil them with cookies and candy. They loved him and so did I .

My deepest condolences to Lloyd's family. I was so sorry to hear of his passing.
He was a very special man who was adored by all of my family, especially our mother, Janet Glenn, who loved him like a son. He was always there for her and visited her often, especially in her last years as she lived with cancer. LLoyd attended all of our many family weddings and parties, bringing his wonderful wit and awesome sense of humour. He kept us all in stitches with his wild stories. You probably don't know this but Lloyd led me to a long & successful career at Scotiabank in Ontario. I had worked away from home for the first time one summer, came home and announced that I was dropping out of University to move to Toronto. I had $100 in my pocket, an old trunk and no job. Unbeknownst to me. when Mom realized I wasn't joking, ok things in hand and sought Lloyd's advice. He contacted his life long friend, Al Blake, who was Manager at the 130 Bloor St branch in TO at the time. He agreed to interview me and the rest is history. God only knows where I would be now without Lloyd. He will always be in my heart.

My sincerest of condolences to Lloyd's family. Papa Lloyd was a charmer, a very kind man, and a pleasure to be around. I will remember Lloyd for the many conversations we had, the many laughs we shared, his fine workmanship in the carpentry area, and Lloyd's many trips to the coast of Labrador, just to name a few. He thoroughly enjoyed those Labrador visits! Lloyd will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers goes out to ALL of Papa Lloyd's family. I am truly saddened by Lloyd's passing, but know that he is now in good hands. xox
