Obituary of Leigh Howard

The passing of Leigh Cushman Howard of Keswick, NB, husband of Sheila (Hull) Howard, occurred on February 4, 2017 at Hospice Fredericton. Born on September 25, 1935 in Maine, USA, he was the son of the late Phillip and Hope (Wolverton) Howard. Leigh enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and training his hunting dogs. He liked meeting with his friends for his daily morning coffee. In addition to his wife, Leigh is survived by his daughter, Karen Howard; son, J. Kirk Howard (Tammy Hatfield); grandchildren, Danielle Veilleux, Jared Scott, Patrick Scott and Rebecca McLellan; great grandchild, Brooke Scott; sisters, Margaret Olmstead (Roger) of Woodstock, NB and Evelyn Mockler (Donald) of Sussex, NB; brother, Harry Howard; several nieces and nephews. Although there will be no Funeral Service a Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB.
