Obituary of Glenwood Chapman

The passing of Glenwood Gene “Eugene” Chapman of Southampton, NB occurred on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Harvey, NB on October 22, 1948, Eugene was a son of Guida Gallagher and the late Robert Chapman. In addition to his mother, Eugene is survived by his daughters, Amanda Morgan (Geoff) of Kingsley, NB, Katie Chapman (Thomas Crouse) of Millville, NB; son, Derrick Chapman of Southampton, NB; grandchildren, McKenzie Morgan, Jacob Morgan, Haley Young-Chapman; sisters, Louise Whitlock (Leon) of Penniac, NB, Dorothy Miller (Mark) of Woodstock, NB, Barb Chapman of Harvey, NB, Elizabeth Chapman of Fredericton, NB, Cathy Plant (Philip) of Fredericton, NB; close friend, Linda Thomas; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Eugene was predeceased by a brother, James Chapman. Visitation will be at Southampton Baptist Church on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 1-2 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with Pastor Wayne Schriver officiating. Interment will be in Crow Hill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
