Obituary of James Henry

The passing of James Joseph Henry of Kingsley, NB, husband of Carol Henry, occurred on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at his home. Born on January 11, 1948 in Fredericton, NB he was the son of the late Emmett and Marie (Legace) Henry. James was a member of the Kingsley Baptist Chuch and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and four wheeling. In addition to his wife, James is survived by his daughters, Julie Henry (Jason Wilkins) and Jodi Henry; grandchild, Alexis; sisters, Kathy Donaher (Dean), Dorothy MacKinnon, Gladys Brown, Shirley Henry and Rose Henry (Paul Griffiths); brothers, Emmett Jr. Henry (Brenda), John Henry, Gordon Henry (Cindy), Peter Henry (Donna), Danny Henry (Ida) and Steven Henry (Alice); sister-in-law, Bettyanne Henry; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his brothers, Bernard Henry and Hector Henry. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 7 to 9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A Memorial Service will take place at Kingsley Baptist Church on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Steven Teed officiating. Interment will take place at the Seymour Memorial Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Kingsley Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
