Obituary of Elva Munn

The passing of Elva Everett Munn of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, occurred on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 9, 1937 in New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Archie and Winnifred (Davidson) Munn. Elva was a truck driver and mechanic and also enjoyed hunting. He was a member of South Portage Baptist Bible Church. Elva is survived by his children, Stanley Munn (Vickie), Carl Munn (Sheila), Donnie Munn (Michelle), Brent Munn (Georgina) and Anne Munn; son in-law, Danny Lovelace; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Esther Forbes (Hedley), Bertha Woodcock, Murray Munn (Minnie) and Laurie Munn (Gladys); several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Jeanie Lovelace; sister, Noreen MacDonald (Lloyd); brother in law, Elwood Woodcock and partner, Maisie Fairley. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 12-2pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with Pastor Pat McAloon officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek, Danny, Trevor, Timmy and Nicholas Munn, Peter Duff, James Knowles and Weston Graves. Interment will take place in Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery in the spring.
