Obituary of Frederick Morehouse

The passing of Frederick “Fred” Arthur Morehouse of Fredericton, NB, husband of Eulalia “Lalia” (Corey) Morehouse, occurred on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 21, 1919 in Zealand, NB he was the son of the late Ira and Lillian (Brewer) Morehouse. Fred was a retired carpenter, and was a veteran of the World War II with the Carleton York Regiment. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 Fredericton and was an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his children, Connie Goodine (Larry) of Calgary, AB, Eunice Gill (Kevin Weaver) of Fredericton, NB, Ira Morehouse of BC, Mina Morehouse (Tom Skidnuk) of Vancouver Island, BC; and Owen Morehouse of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Kerry, Jared and Rebecca Goodine, Jason Mollins, Mitchell and Jake Skidnuk and Brianna Morehouse; great grandchild Carly Mollins; sister, Julia Estey of Fredericton NB; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Dillon and Rena Lewis. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton, NB on Tuesday November 15, 2016 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating.
