Obituary of Gloria Kervin

The sudden passing of Gloria Darlene Kervin of Blissfield, NB, formerly of Fredericton, NB occurred on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Gloria was born on July 4, 1971. She is survived by her ex-husband, James “Jimmy” Kervin; her parents, Iona Kervin of Blissfield, NB and Donald (Margaret) Kervin of Blissfield, NB. Gloria loved to knit, crochet and go fishing. She enjoyed playing cards and checkers, liked anything with wolves and going to Cains River but most of all she loved spending time with her two special grandchildren. Gloria is also survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Pitre (Shawn) of New Bandon, NB; two granddaughters, Savannah and Nathalie; sister, Mary Torres of Blissfield, NB; brothers, Stephen Kervin (Rhonda) of Royal Road, NB and Perry Kervin of Fredericton, NB; niece, Chloe Torres; special friend, Noreen Elliot of Fredericton, NB; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her infant brother, Donny. Visitation will be held at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Chapel on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul McGrattan officiating. Interment will be in Upper Blackville United Baptist Cemetery.
