Obituary of Christina Hargrove

Life Legacy The passing of Christina “Chris” Hargrove of Fredericton, NB, wife of Harold Hargrove occurred on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 4, 1932 in Gagetown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel (Price) Ferris. Christina loved family and country music, Jemseg Jams, and always enjoyed following the Ferris family around at music events. She liked to play cards, quilt and knit, and never missed a Gagetown fair. In addition to her husband, Christina is survived by her daughters, Ardith Hargrove of Calgary, AB and Darlene Clarke (Dale) of Fredericton, NB; sons, Dwaine, Brad and Kim Hargrove (Johanne) all of Fredericton, NB and Greg of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Dennis, Heather, Craig, Andrew, Scott, Mark, Melissa, Jeff and Michael; several great grandchildren; sisters, Marguerite Mallet (J.P.) and Myrtle Colford (Bob); brother, Wallace Ferris; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Wendell Ferris. There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating; a reception will follow in the Fireside Room.
