Dear Pamela and Family: Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on Wendell's passing. His advice, support and skills were of great benefit to me in my early days as an MLA. He gave me a new appreciation of the written word and shared techniques for reaching out to my constituents. I admired his intellect and unique personality. Nothing ever seemed too much effort for him. He had excellent insights into the province and its political history over such a span of time. He truly was a "Renaissance Man" and had a life well-lived!
Sincerely Jane Barry

Wendell and I joined the TCS the same year. During our tour of Canada, as part of our training, Wendell helped us all appreciate New Brunswick's traditions.

I was saddened to read of Wendell's passing. I was one of the Pinehillers when Wendell was in law school and have fond memories of our time there. He was the first CCFer I ever met and it was a treat to hear a master debater present an explanation of the strengths of that party. However, coming from Truro I was a lost cause for him. We did run into each other on a couple of occasions over the years as I was involved in education and politics and it was always fun. He was truly a wonderful one-of-a-kind person and it was privilege to have known him.

Wendell certainly had an interesting and exciting life. Earl and Annie were my grandparents neighbours and Wendell was a good friend of my uncle Neale who also became a lawyer. Somehow they were able to overcome their political differences since my grandparents and uncle were staunch Conservatives.
So sorry for your loss and you have my deepest sympathy.

So thrilled to be able to say I know Wendell and his family an dhave such memorable occasions of discussing politics! He will surely be missed but let me tell you he is now telling Tony Barry of the great work the Liberals are doing in Ottawa and New Brunswick! What a wealth of knowledge that he shared with everyone.

Although I never knew Mr Fulton personnally, I was honored to receive favorable comments to a response that I had given in the New Brunswick Legislature a few years ago. As a very accomplished individual through work, travel and education, Mr. Fulton could express his views and they would be heard by any audience, regardless of political leanings. His passing is indeed a loss to the community and our province.
