Obituary of Murray Palmer

Palmer, Murray Eugene The passing of Murray Eugene Palmer of Stanley, NB, partner of the late Ernestine Hayes, occurred on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on April 3, 1936 in Bloomfield Ridge, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eunice (Carson) Palmer. Murray enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the horse pulls. Murray is survived by his special caregivers, Murray and Linda Haines; chosen family, Patricia Walton (Clifford), Agnes Hayes, Opal Paul, Jerry Hayes, Perry Hayes, Johnny Hayes (Lacey) and Joey Hayes; sisters, Betty Palmer (Edison) and Jean Lyons. He was predeceased his brother, Robert Palmer; sister, Dorthy MacMillan and nephew, Joey Palmer. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Mowry officiating. Interment will be in the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic, Stanley, NB. For those who wish remembrance may be made to St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
