Obituary of Robert Berryman
The passing of Robert “Bob” James Berryman, of Fredericton, NB, husband of Debbie (Reid) Berryman, occurred on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 18, 1955 in Blackpool, England, he was the son of the late James and Lilian (Charnock) Berryman. Bob was a retired Fireman after 35 years of dedicated service. He will be remembered as being a loving husband and devoted father. He coached baseball and was very involved in his children’s interests. Bob was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting and fishing; enjoyed racing, golfing and curling.
Besides his wife, Bob is survived by his sons, Adam and Greg; his sister, Susan; his sisters-in-law, Darlene Russell (Ron) and Yvonnie Munn (Charles); his brother-in-law, John Reid (Sue); many nieces and nephews and his dog, Bella. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law, Elva and Glendeen Reid and his brothers-in-law, Carmen and Tony Reid.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Nashwaaksis United Church, Fredericton, NB on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 2 pm with Pastor Mike Trail officiating, Rev. Gordon Cook and Rev. J. D. Kennedy assisting. A reception will follow in the church hall. The family wish to express their gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses of 3SW and the Palliative Care Unit at the Chalmers for their care and compassion when caring for Bob and his family.
