Obituary of Archibald Munn

Munn, Archibald “Archie” Carson The passing of Archie Munn formerly of Boiestown, NB occurred on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Parkland Shannex. Born on January 3, 1936 in Holtville, NB, he was the son of the late Angus and Christina (Carson) (Conroy) Munn and step father, Desmond Conroy. He was employed at Ashley Colter Ltd. for a number of years. Archie loved spending time at his camp in Taxis River. He was a past member of the Upper Miramichi Lions Club. Archie volunteered at the Boiestown Fair Horse Hauls. Archie is survived by his brothers, Harold (Rita) and Tom (Joan); sisters, Bertha Lenetine, Etta (Glen) Lovelace, Margaret Munn, Laura Noseworthy and Doreen (Arthur) Lovelace; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Vivian and sister, Olive. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, New Bandon on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 12 -2 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm with Rev. Rick Bruce officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made in Archie’s memory to the Upper Miramichi Lions Club.
