Obituary of Robin Watling
The passing of Robin May (Pugh) Watling, wife of Robert Watling, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on February 14, 2016 at her home. Born on May 9, 1925 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Violet (Logan) Pugh. Robin was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. She retired with the Province of New Brunswick. Robin enjoyed painting and instructed paper tole, square dancing for many years and was a member of Elm Tree Squares.
Besides her husband, Robin is survived by her children, Stephen Watling (Liz) of Fredericton, NB, Marjorie Durling (Jim) of Ontario and Anne Watling of Chipman, NB; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; her brother, Ralph Pugh (Eleanor) of Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Robin was predeceased by her sister, Doris Knock and her brother, Carson Pugh.
A Memorial Service will be held from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Ross Hebb officiating. Interment will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. A special thank you to the Extra Mural Program, Beverley Schneider and Phyllis Morehouse.
