Obituary of Terry Russell
Terry Rodrick Russell passed away suddenly at home on December 19th, 2015. Born in Doaktown, NB on April 26th, 1950 he was the son of the late Carleton and Eva Russell. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Jane Russell; daughters Tanya (Robert) Astolfo and Vanessa (Garry Jason) Betts; his beloved grandchildren; Michaela, Selina, Autumn and Jacob; sister Peggy Berry and much loved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother and sister Van Russell and Zina Eller.
Terry worked with the Department of Federal Fisheries, then worked in the forestry industry for over 25 years. In the last 5 years he worked at the Dungarvon Fish Barrier. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed doing custom woodwork. He also enjoyed the outdoors, particularly four wheeling, snowmobiling, and fishing.
He loved his children and grandchildren dearly, and went to great lengths to make them happy. Whether it be building a playhouse or creating a fish pond in the backyard, he always strived to make special memories for them. He was so very proud of his daughters and grandchildren. Terry was always lending a helping hand and will be cherished and remembered as the reserved, strong, sweet and good man he was by his heartbroken family and friends.
