Obituary of Richard Stafford

Life Legacy Richard Garth Stafford of Fredericton, NB passed away at his home on January 2, 2016. Richard “Rick” was the eldest son of Yvonne Stafford (Bonnie Grant) and the late Richard George Stafford. Left to remember him dearly are the loves of his life Sheila Newlands; his daughter Audrey (Steve) Rasmussen of Calgary Alberta, his son Leland (Brittany) Stafford also of Calgary Alberta and his three young grandchildren. Also his mother Yvonne “Bonnie” Stafford; his siblings Karen (Robert) Atwin, Peter (Linda) Stafford, Elaine (Bill) Borland, and Lisa (Pete) Stafford. Rick was loved and will be remembered fondly by Sheila’s family John (Jean) Maunder, Rick Maunder, Cathy (Sheldon) Ellis, Shelley Skidd and family as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Rick was an artist and a school teacher. He loved music and nature and making people laugh. He was a kind and gentle man who was loved and will be greatly missed by many. Upon his request, there will not be a funeral service. Instead he will be honoured by a private celebration of his life for immediate family.
