Obituary of John Parsons
The passing of John “Jack” Albert Parsons of Old Ham, NS occurred on February 5, 2015 at home. Born on May 29, 1959 in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Don and Edna (Henry) Taylor of Fredericton. Jack grew up in Silverwood, NB. He loved hockey and baseball. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf Fan. He had a love and a talent for cooking and went on to be an accomplished Chef. He enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He loved his community and enjoyed helping his neighbours.
Jack is survived by his siblings, Ted Mills (Millie), Rhonda Simmons, Kevin Nelson, Brian Stevens (Donna), Phyllis Rice, Joyce Cumberbatch (Rudy), Audrey Edwards (James), Darrell Taylor (Evadnie) and Bob Taylor (Martha); several nieces and nephews. Besides his foster parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Gwendolyn Jackson.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 1-3 pm, followed by a Graveside Service at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery with Rev.
